Christopher is an Associate in the Aviation and Travel Department at Stewarts Law LLP. Throughout his time as a specialist travel lawyer for over 8 years he has acted almost exclusively for the victims of accidents abroad and in disputes with tour operators, hotels, travel providers and insurers. Apart from acting for the victims and families of those involved in accidents abroad, Christopher has experience of dealing with general holiday disputes, international recoveries and policy disputes.
Prior to qualifying as a solicitor, Christopher studied European law and French law at the University of Warwick and Faculty of Law, Lille II, France. He worked for a year in the residential property department of a local law firm before joining Blake Lapthorn's Travel Litigation team in 2008, where he completed his training contract. He qualified into the Travel Litigation team where he worked until joining Stewarts Law LLP.
Recent case highlights include Thomas v (1) Baker and (2) Insurance Commission of Western Australia (2015) and Fisher v Fenix-Directo (2015). Christopher has been recognised as “outstanding” in Legal 500 2015 and as an “Associate to Watch” in Chambers and Partners.
